Treatments with Dermal Fillers

  • We do not carry out injections during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

  • The presence of children under 18 years of age is not allowed during treatments of any kind. However, adolescents over 14 years of age may wait in the waiting room on their own.

  • If you are accompanied by a younger child, only consultation is possible, as our staff is not legally permitted to supervise them.

  • Anti-wrinkle treatments and treatments with dermal filler in the same region within one session is not possible! Here, a minimum interval of 2 weeks is required.

  • Anti-wrinkle treatments and treatments with dermal filler in different regions is possible.

Before Treatment

  • Please eat and drink before the treatment to avoid unnecessary circulatory reactions

  • Please do not drink alcohol on the day of treatment

Attention

  • No injections in acute allergic reactions

  • At least 1 week before a dermal filler treatment:

    • Avoid any blood-thinning medication

    • Avoid any painkillers with blood-thinning effect (e.g. aspirin, thomapyrin)

    • Avoid any products that contain Ginkgo

  • At least 14 days prior to treatment with dermal filler

    • No infections / colds / herpes etc

    • Do not take any antibiotics or cortisone

    • Avoid laser treatments in the treatment region (depending on the type of laser used, the waiting time to a treatment with dermal filler may be longer, please ask us to make sure!)

    • Avoid invasive cosmetic treatments (such as microneedling, microdermabrasion etc.)

    • Avoid any dental treatments (including dental cleaning and bleaching)

  • At least 4 weeks before dermal filler treatment

    • Avoid any vaccinations

  • At least 6 weeks before dermal filler treatment

    • No laser therapy/tattooing (including permanent make-up/microblading)

    • No piercings

    • No surgery (including dental surgery)

    • No COVID-19 vaccination

  • At least 6 months before dermal filler treatment

    • No major surgery on the face (e.g. rhinoplasty, facelift)

In the case of chronic inflammatory diseases of any kind, injections are only possible after a careful consideration. Please arrange a medical consultation for this.
If you have already had an anti-wrinkle treatment, treatments with dermal filler or a thread lift, please find out exactly what product you have been treated with.
If necessary, certain deadlines must be observed before a new injection is given.
If you are taking cortisone or antibiotics permanently, dermal filler injections are unfortunately not possible.
