Treatments with Dermal Fillers

We do not carry out injections during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
The presence of children under 18 years of age is not allowed during treatments of any kind. However, adolescents over 14 years of age may wait in the waiting room on their own.
If you are accompanied by a younger child, only consultation is possible, as our staff is not legally permitted to supervise them.
Anti-wrinkle treatments and treatments with dermal filler in the same region within one session is not possible! Here, a minimum interval of 2 weeks is required.
Anti-wrinkle treatments and treatments with dermal filler in different regions is possible.

Before Treatment

Please eat and drink before the treatment to avoid unnecessary circulatory reactions
Please do not drink alcohol on the day of treatment

Attention

No injections in acute allergic reactions
At least 1 week before a dermal filler treatment:
- Avoid any blood-thinning medication
- Avoid any painkillers with blood-thinning effect (e.g. aspirin, thomapyrin)
- Avoid any products that contain Ginkgo

At least 14 days prior to treatment with dermal filler
- No infections / colds / herpes etc
- Do not take any antibiotics or cortisone
- Avoid laser treatments in the treatment region (depending on the type of laser used, the waiting time to a treatment with dermal filler may be longer, please ask us to make sure!)
- Avoid invasive cosmetic treatments (such as microneedling, microdermabrasion etc.)
- Avoid any dental treatments (including dental cleaning and bleaching)
At least 4 weeks before dermal filler treatment
- Avoid any vaccinations
At least 6 weeks before dermal filler treatment
- No laser therapy/tattooing (including permanent make-up/microblading)
- No piercings
- No surgery (including dental surgery)
- No COVID-19 vaccination
At least 6 months before dermal filler treatment
- No major surgery on the face (e.g. rhinoplasty, facelift)

In the case of chronic inflammatory diseases of any kind, injections are only possible after a careful consideration. Please arrange a medical consultation for this.
If you have already had an anti-wrinkle treatment, treatments with dermal filler or a thread lift, please find out exactly what product you have been treated with.
If necessary, certain deadlines must be observed before a new injection is given.
If you are taking cortisone or antibiotics permanently, dermal filler injections are unfortunately not possible.

After the treatment with dermal fillers

On the day of the treatment:
- No smoking for at least 4 hours after
- Do not wear any makeup or lipstick
- Do not drink any alcohol
At least 48 hours:
- No sport, exercise or excess physical activity
At least 1 week:
- No sauna, solarium and excess sun exposure
At least 2 weeks:
- Avoid any facial massages or invasive cosmetic facial treatments
- Avoid any dental treatments, including dental cleaning or bleaching
- No vaccinations / no COVID-19 vaccination
- No laser treatment in any area
At least 4 weeks:
- No microblading/permanent makeup/ tattooing
- No laser treatment in the treatment area
Important aftercare steps for lip treatment with dermal fillers:
- Do not consume any hot drinks and food for at least 4 hours
- No kissing for 24 hours
- Do not use any lipstick/lip care on the following day
- No dental treatment, including dental cleaning or bleaching for at least 4 weeks
Important aftercare steps for nose correction with dermal filler:
- No pressure on the corrected area for 2 weeks (e.g. wearing glasses, sunglasses, goggles)

What you can do to ensure the best result from your treatment:

Stay hydrated: drink at least 2 litres of water per day
Slight unevenness or bumps in the treated area can be gently massaged from the third day after treatment
If necessary, the treated area can be cooled with a cooling pad (not from the freezer!) after the injection. Please only do so for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time.

Waiting periods for any volume increase with fillers with more volume than 0.2ml:

Volume build-up in the same region: At least 4 weeks
Volume increase in another region: At least 2 weeks
Skinbooster: At least 4 weeks

When changing to a different product manufacturer, different changeover times may occur depending on the manufacturer. Please ask us when you make an appointment, so that unnecessary inconveniences for you can be avoided.

Rules of conduct for anti-wrinkle injections

In order to avoid an antibody formation and loss of efficacy, a waiting period of at least 3 months must be maintained between two treatments with muscle relaxants.

A laser treatment in another region can take place on the same day, but must then take place BEFORE the anti-wrinkle treatment

- Avoid any invasive cosmetic treatments (such as microblading, microdermabrasion, etc.)
- Avoid any dental treatments (including dental cleaning and bleaching)
- No vaccinations / no COVID-19 vaccination
At least 6 weeks before anti-wrinkle treatment:
- No laser therapy/tattooing (including permanent make-up/microblading)
- No piercings
- No surgery (including dental surgery)

Special care should be taken when treating sweat glands with botulinum toxin:

Avoid shaving in the area to be treated for at least 2 days

After the anti-wrinkle treatment:

At least 4 hours:
- Keep your head upright
On the day of treatment:
- Do not consume any alcohol
- Do not apply any make-up
- No rubbing/massaging the treated area
At least 48 hours:
- No sport, exercise or excess physical activity
At least 1 week:
- No sauna, solarium and intense sun exposure
At least 2 weeks:
- Avoid any facial massages or invasive cosmetic facial treatments
- Avoid any microblading/permanent makeup/ tattooing in the treated area
- Avoid any dental treatments, including dental cleaning or bleaching
- No laser treatment in the treated area
- No COVID-19 vaccination
